Almost 80% of consumers spend up to $100 per month on skin care products.
FACT. The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) 2018 Consumer Survey collected data from 3,525 consumers through a blind online survey, and found that the majority are spending up to $100 per month on products including cleaners, serums, masks, sunscreens, and creams. More than half of consumers would prefer to pay more up front to lower annual costs, which directly aligns with a desire to seek cosmetic procedures: traditionally yielding a higher upfront cost, but providing longer term results over specific skincare products.
